Foxy Panic Drops Indie-Electronic Single “Anecdote”

Quick Thoughts: Foxy Panic, the duo comprised of Lena Brown and China Morbosa, is on the cutting edge of indie-electronic music. I wish there were a more descriptive genre to describe their music because it’s so delicately curated and draws on inspiration from multiple genres. With only four official singles available, the group shows a refreshing authenticity, using delicate layers of synths and vocals to evoke a trance-like groove.

Their latest single “Anecdote” is their best performing track to date, and rightfully so: the track sounds complex without overdoing itself and has an addictive quality to it. Staying consistent with past tracks, “Anecdote” contains a multitude of synths and ear-catching vocals, carefully filtered and layered to give off a warm, yet haunting vibe. Their sound isn’t for everyone, but it’s hard not to appreciate it. I’m excited to see where they go next.
