The Shadowboxers Release Infectious New Single, "When You Were Mine"

Quick Thoughts: Over the past few years, The Shadowboxers have built up a seriously impressive catalogue of hits. With their genreless, versatile style, they have an infectious pop sound that ranges anywhere from indie/alternative to R&B. Their latest single, When You Were Mine, sees the band lean heavily into their alternative rock side, as they infuse elements of funk and pop for this swinging, melodic song that I can’t get out of my head. The trio are inspired by their mentor, Justin Timberlake, and you can absolutely hear the JT influence in this track with soaring falsettos and hook-heavy melodies.
